While the Civil Air Patrol is centered around flight operations the opportunity to serve and the roles available to members are incredibly diverse. Chances are your skill set in the private sector can be used effectively in the Civil Air Patrol. Whether you have a passion for administration, teaching, safety, finance, working with cadets or would simply like to do something new – there is a place for you. As an all volunteer organization the Civil Air Patrol is a 501c3 non-profit organization and serves under the direction of the Department of Defense and U.S. Air Force. As such, CAP members are not part of the military or armed services.
Fresno Squadron #112 is comprised of a group of highly motivated adult members from a diversity of backgrounds and professions: teachers, physicians, law enforcement, retired military, business, fighter pilots, clergy, technology – just to name a few. All of our members pass a background check and strive to maintain the highest ethical standards.
If you would like to experience the Civil Air Patrol Squadron #112 please feel free to attend a Squadron Meeting held each Thursday night – 7:00 pm at the National Guard Armory. Feel free to come a little early as our Cadet Corps begins their Opening Ceremonies at 6:15. (Directions and Contact Info.)
